ABOUT VÍCTOR LABARQUILLA
With 25+ years of work experience in powerplant physical integration, I am passionate about designing, developing, and delivering innovative solutions for diverse aircraft applications. I have a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering. I am currently a Powerplant Physical Integrator at Rolls-Royce, where I work with a global team of engineers and suppliers to create optimal installations for electric, hybrid-electric, and gas turbine propulsion systems. In my current role, I am responsible for the IPPS and Engine Integration, EBU and Externals Layout, Units Installation, and Concept Definition for various programmes, such as the Dassault Falcon 10X, and several Hybrid Electrical Propulsion Projects. I use my problem-solving, design thinking, and mechanical engineering skills to agree interfaces, buy off installation solutions, and review digital mock-ups. I also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the quality, safety, and efficiency of the powerplant systems. I enjoy working on challenging and complex projects that require creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
