ABOUT VICTOR HAMBURGER
Victor is Vice President at Broadway Across America overseeing the Mountain Region for the John Gore Organization. Victor is the presenter for Broadway at the Eccles one of the top performing Broadway Series in the nation. Victor is a performing arts executive with expertise in fundraising, arts marketing, building/optimizing organizational processes, analytics/measurement systems and creating infrastructure to maximize ROI. A skilled strategist who transforms ideas into workable solutions and benchmarks performance against key operational targets/goals. Victor has more than two decades of experience working in the arts and culture industry.Previously Victor spent 11 years at Arizona State University in various roles for ASU Cultural Affairs. After spending eight years as the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications at ASU Gammage, Tempe, Arizona, Victor Hamburger was promoted to the Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives for ASU Cultural Affairs. Victor’s planning and marketing strategy led ASU Gammage to new heights with records in sales and subscribers after rebuilding the Broadway series post-recession. As a result of this growth and the economic impact created, ASU Gammage was named the 2017 small/medium business of the year by the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce. In addition to responsibilities at ASU Cultural Affairs, Victor was also the Senior Director for ASU’s 365 Community Union (Sun Devil Stadium redevelopment project — aiming to turn the facility into a 365 day-a-year business and entertainment destination). Prior to his time at ASU, Victor previously led the marketing efforts at Michigan State University’s Wharton Center for Performing Arts. Victor started in the arts at Wharton Center as a student employee and worked at every level within the organization, eventually becoming Director of Marketing in 2008. Victor is a well respected leader in arts circles and frequent presenter at arts conferences around the country. Victor, also served as Co-chair of the Broadway League’s Road Marketing Committee from 20••••13 and received the 2013 Outstanding Achievement in Road Marketing Award from The Broadway League. Proud alumnus of Michigan State University and the National Outdoor Leadership School.
