About Victor Fernandez
As a first-generation student at Columbia University, I am pursuing a degree in Financial Economics with a concentration in Psychology on the Pre-Law Track, expected to graduate in May 2026. Originally from the Dominican Republic, I moved to Brooklyn, NY, where I had the opportunity to assist startups and fundraisers with financial planning. My journey has been defined by a passion for finance.Currently, I\'m interning at Cap Table Coalition as a Venture Capital and Portfolio Management Intern, supporting their mission to diversify the VC world by helping manage over 80 portfolio companies. I\'ve had the privilege of assisting PhD students at the Columbia Business School Behavioral Research Lab, honing my skills in data analysis and research. Additionally, my involvement with student-run investment firms like BlackGen Capital has allowed me to delve into the world of finance, presenting stock pitches and analyzing market trends. I am deeply passionate about finance and dedicated to leveraging and growing my research and analytical skills to excel in the industry.
