Team Management and Development• Manage the Program Manager and Program Coordinator for the region, creating goals and ensuring fidelity with all programs.• Design, develop and implement strategies that will maximize the synergies among program areas• Implement an individual professional development program to address employee experience and skill gaps.• Instill a sense of accountability among team members by modeling oversight of individual and organization performance standards.• Liaise with National team stakeholders to develop training protocols, coordinate program calendars, and ensure programmatic outcomes.Fundraising, Stewardship & Volunteerism• With the support of the Executive Director, design, create and implement a development plan to secure additional paid job partners, and financial support from various areas in Detroit region.• Follow leads from UA stakeholders, conduct outreach, and pitch the Urban Alliance program to prospective job and philanthropic partners in coordination with the Executive Director• Steward relationships with partners and develop a volunteer engagement strategy, implementation in partnership with program leads. Strategic Communications• With the Executive Director, develop an annual external communications strategy in coordination with National Head of Communications, and external communications support.• Oversee the execution of external communications with Program Manager, and College and Career Services Manager, including the weekly mentor newsletter and social media content.
