ABOUT VICTOR BLONDEEL

My interest in macroeconomics and financial markets began during my Classe Préparatoire D2, where I developed a strong appetite for understanding economic mechanisms and policy dynamics. I later joined Université Paris-Dauphine to pursue this path within the public education system and strengthen my analytical and quantitative skills. I first worked at the Caisse des Dépôts Group, within regulatory reporting and investor relations, where I developed strong writing, analytical, and communication skills. I then joined Dauphine AM, the asset management subsidiary of Rhétores Finance, where I specialized in equity portfolio management and financial analysis. I contributed to fund monitoring, built VBA and Python tools to automate reporting, and worked on multiple investment cases, particularly within the U.S. technology sector (fintechs, semiconductors, software). Passionate about macroeconomics, I actively follow and interpret market dynamics and policy decisions on a daily basis to support portfolio managers in their investment decisions. I aim to combine my analytical, technical, and macroeconomic insights to contribute to long-term, high-conviction investment strategies in the tech and financial sectors.
