It is a passion to engage in catalyzing opportunities for children to further assist in developing their academic and personal attributes. One of my most recent and significant professional achievements was being awarded a 15 million dollar Magnet Schools Assistance Program (MSAP) grant of which I was coauthor, primary investigator, and researcher. This grant opportunity is designed to positively impact the lives of students\' across three schools (K-14).

   Collaborate with Magnet Schools Assistance Program Leadership and District Leadership to implement with fidelity the Accelerate Excellence USDE MSAP Project•Supervise Project Evaluators and ensure compliance to all project contract commitments and partnerships•Supervise the MSAP STEAM Supervisor Administrators across the three school sites•Ensure that the activities of the magnet school project are focused on reduction of minority group isolation while promoting equity and high-quality instructional practices to serve optimal educational needs for all children•Ensure that the activities of the magnet school project are focused on promoting socioeconomic diversity within our schools•Implement and support magnet theme integration across all courses and learning experiences K-14 •Collaborate with school staff, university and business partners to develop thematic, STEAM skill-embedded courses and standards•Work closely with the district supervisors of each curriculum area to coordinate their involvement with school-based activities such as, curriculum development and alignment, development of magnet courses, units and lesson plan deign•Establish partnerships with university and other professional development partners to ensure their coordination with our professional development plan service delivery to principals and staff addressing needs targeted at accelerating student achievement and project success•Establish partnerships that provide for externships and internships to foster increased career awareness options and choice•Coordinate the district interdistrict application, recruitment and retention processes•Work closely with the MSAP Recruitment Teams to ensure compliance to annual performance measures and state compliance•Collaborate with USDE Program Officer and MSAP Evaluator to prepare annual ADHOC, APR and Progress Monitoring Reports and documentation•Manage project budget expenditures and reporting to the U.S. Department of Education
