ABOUT VIC WAKEFIELD-JARRETT

I help communities cut energy bills and carbon emissions — because the climate transition only works if it works for everyone.With a background spanning community energy, energy efficiency, domestic retrofit and solar, I bring together technical knowledge and genuine community roots. I\'m experienced in project management, co-production and stakeholder engagement, and I\'m equally at home presenting to expert committees and conferences as I am working directly with community groups, young people and members of the public.Most recently, I led the delivery of Transforming Energy Together — a innovation project exploring the non-technical barriers to retrofit in Easton and Lawrence Hill, a culturally and economically diverse area with high levels of private and social rented housing. It\'s the kind of work I care about most: practical, place-based, and designed around people\'s real lives.Everything I do is grounded in a Just Transition lens — making sure climate action visibly co-delivers social and health benefits that address people\'s pressing, everyday needs. I believe the best solutions are built with communities, not just for them.Open to connecting with others working at the intersection of climate, energy and social justice.
