H&R Block is an all Azure house and utilizes many Azure Services across the organization. The Development teams have full ownership and accountability for their cloud spend. My responsibilities are- Manage and expand the FinOps Data Platform - Oversee a team of 6 engineers - Design and implement reporting - Policy governance (both Automated and Manual)- Application Tracking - Relationship Management - Cost Anomaly Detection - Working closely with Finance on Budgeting and Planning - Automated Chargeback - Working closely with Architects to recommend solutions - RI Purchasing and Capacity Planning
