ABOUT VICKY WOODFIELD
Passionate about positive outcomes for children and their families. I develop and lead high-performing teams that put children at the heart of everything we do. I have built my career in Local Authority social care settings - from one of the most diverse and deprived London boroughs (Newham) achieving ofsted grade improvement at Sandwell Children’s services, to international social work assessments in Asia and North America. I hold and have experience of holding various leadership roles in the sector and was Deputy Chair of Channel (Prevent).Highlights of my career include developing a successful adolescence team. Developing a hybrid approach to ensure a safe service for children and families during Covid-19, and advising the Minister of State for children and families about rehabilitation of children subject to Care Orders.I can draw on diverse experience across the social work sector including, contextual safeguarding, service redesign, quality assurance, transformation (embedding organisational and cultural change) practice improvement and project management.Qualifications include Social Work Degree with DIPSW, Practice Education, Post graduate certificate in Leadership and Management.
