As a biotech supply chain professional - I thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where my ability to identify and resolve process issues - improves process efficiencies and produces cost savings. • I started in the procure-to-pay arena as a Supervisor of Accounting Operations. While supervisor I became noted for solving a variety of “systems” issues. • When Immunex decided to implement SAP – I was identified as the subject matter expert for procure-to-pay on the new SAP system.• I entered the procurement function – when procurement wanted to optimize their cross-functional SAP utilization – they selected me – as a result of my accounting, systems, and process management expertise. • After a couple of years in the clinical contracting arena – I was recruited back to a business analyst role working on procure-to-pay and supply chain issues.• I am currently working as a supply chain specialist at the production development facility and assist with the scale-up manufacturing planning process – meeting FDA requirements for approval.• I work with engineers and technicians to identify demand requirements based on development schedules. • Building on my long-term relationships with chemical and filter vendor-partners, and my vigilant attention to development schedules and worldwide supply issues - I have been able to identify and avert potential stock-out situations. • After the Japanese Tsunami of 2011, there was a worldwide shortage of amino acids. As a result of my best practices and policies in handling my supply chain role – I was able to secure a year\'s supply of critical development materials and Amgen development enjoyed an interruption-free production schedule.ExpertiseSAP, MRP, Production Planning Process, Demand Planning Process
