ABOUT VICKI ENSOR

I am a senior leader specialising in commercial education, strategic partnerships, and skills development, with a focus on connecting education and industry to drive workforce growth and social value.As Director of Commercial Education & Partnerships, I lead the development of high-impact, employer-led partnerships that align skills provision with market need. My work brings together organisations across education, industry, and the public sector to deliver sustainable, commercially viable solutions that create real-world impact.I have a strong track record of delivering complex, high-value programmes across local government, health and social care, academia, and industry. I am particularly experienced in engaging senior stakeholders and building effective cross-sector collaborations that enable innovation and long-term growth.Alongside my executive role, I hold a number of governance and advisory positions. As Chair of the Local Governing Body at KE6, I provide strategic leadership, oversight, and accountability within further education. I also serve as a board member across several skills and workforce boards, contributing to regional skills strategy and strengthening the alignment between education and employment.My earlier career includes senior leadership roles within the NHS, where I led teams, managed budgets, and delivered service transformation and innovation.
