As an Assistant Principal and STEM Magnet Program Coordinator at Houston ISD, I have been leading and supporting the academic and operational excellence of a diverse and innovative K-8 school for over five years. I have a Doctor of Business Administration (Entrepreneurship) and a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification, which enable me to connect business with education and foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration among students, staff, and stakeholders.I am passionate about creating positive social change through education and empowering learners of all ages and backgrounds. I have extensive experience in online and hybrid teaching and learning, as well as in adult learning and facilitation. I have completed multiple courses and certifications from reputable institutions such as Harvard University and LinkedIn, which enhance my skills and knowledge in effective leadership, communication, and presentation. My goal is to leverage my education, experience, and expertise to advance the STEM and HR fields and inspire the next generation of leaders and entrepreneurs.
