About Vickie Carr

A partner at Deloitte Tax, I\'ve been with Deloitte for more than 30 years serving public and private clients in several industries, including large multinational clients. I have spent the majority of my career specializing in tax accounting and consulting with clients on ASC 740 matters. I currently lead our National Tax Accounting Group (NTAG), a project-based group that provides tax accounting services including provision preparation (outsourced and/or co-sourced) and transaction-related ASC 740 services (carve-out provisions, acquisition accounting and deferred tax validations). Our team works closely with Deloitte’s Washington National Tax—Accounting for Income Taxes Group. I am a frequent speaker at internal and external conferences on tax accounting topics, including client roundtables, external training, client-specific training, and Dbriefs for executives.

Began in the Tulsa office before relocating to Memphis serving clients for 12 years then serving two years as a National Leader in the Financial Accounting & Reporting - Income Taxes group still serving as a co-leader of External Training. In 2010, Vickie relocated to Dallas to serve as the lead tax partner on several large Global Strategic clients of the firm. Speaks frequently on tax topics at internal and external conferences.
