I am happy to announce my new role as the Georgia State Director for Black Belt Justice Center (BBJC)in the State of Georgia. BBJC is a legal and advocacy nonprofit organization that serves African American farmers, landowners and communities in the Black Belt region in efforts to retain and increase land ownership and stewardship; to create sustainable, regenerative land-based cooperatives and entrepreneurial businesses; and to ensure intergenerational and community wealth.

ABOUT VICKIE WIGGINS
Experienced Attorney with a demonstrated history of working in immigration law, family law and related litigation as well as a divorce mediator on complex divorce cases. Sixty (60)% of my practice is based on family sponsored immigration matters, and thirty (25)% of my practice centers on family law and mediation and the remaining five (15)% centers on grant writing and acting as the state director for Black Belt Justice Center in Georgia (BBJC). Skilled Mediator registered with Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution since 2010. Other Legal Experience: Worked as the Managing Attorney and assistant to the Solicitor in the Solicitor Generals office in Clayton County, Georgia. Skilled communicator, excellent research and writing skills and well developed problem solving skills gained from 20+ years as practicing attorney. Well versed in Landlord Tenant law and contract law. Experienced in Landlord Tenant representation as well as preparation and execution of lease and contract agreements in real estate transactions.
