Her expertise encompasses leading high-profile financing transactions, scaling operations for commercial success, and ensuring appropriate asset allocation, reflecting her exceptional acumen in navigating the complexities of the public corporate financial landscape.At Mirati Therapeutics, Inc.(acquired by Bristol Myers Squibb in early 2024), in the role of Chief Accounting Officer and SVP, Finance, Vickie oversaw the strategic scaling of the company’s operations to enable its transition from a clinical-stage oncology development company to a commercial stage enterprise. From early 2020 to mid-2022, she and her team enabled the company’s workforce expansion from 130 to 600 full time employees, including expansion into Europe.During her nearly nine-year tenure at Mirati Therapeutics, Vickie was a key member of the leadership team that executed financing transactions totaling over $2.5 billion,($1.2 billion of which was raised in 2020). Her experience building strong teams and effectively collaborating with leaders of all functional groups was foundational in driving business decisions aimed at appropriate asset allocation and optimization of financial resources.
