ABOUT VICKI ARIYASU

As Senior VP at Disney Branded TV leading DEI content integration and strategy, my expertise in early childhood education, inclusion, creative, and social responsibility powers my passion for creating content that is meaningful and impactful. I seek to find solutions: How can we adjust our thinking and strategies for storytelling to reflect a more inclusive world? How does this impact how people see themselves and see others? Is this brand defining? How does this drive business? I am committed to inclusion with diverse and authentic representation on screen (IP) and behind the screen (creative talent). I am responsible for the integration of education and inclusion across Disney Branded Television brands including Disney Junior and Disney Channel and all business adjacencies. I lead content integration for many teams including live action movies, unscripted/docuseries, series, animation, marketing, communications, media relations, franchise, parks and resorts. I lead a team that creates learning guidelines and conduct qualitative research (preschool studies) to assess children\'s comprehension, appeal, and the developmental appropriateness for stories. Insights influence creative and business strategies. I have managed partnerships, outreach and programs with UNICEF, World Health Organization, Girls Scouts, Google, NASA, children\'s museums, science discovery centers, children\'s hospitals and other organizations.I am dedicated to social responsibility focused on children and families.
