ABOUT VICKI MOIR
My first post-University position was with a film production company in Aberdeen. I worked predominantly on health and safety, induction and training films for the Oil & Gas industry.After relocating to Glasgow, I worked for a magazine publisher, before moving to a national recruitment agency.Immediately thriving in this role, my success was recognised when I won ‘Newcomer of the Year’ for the Scotland, Northern Ireland and North of England region at the company’s annual awards ceremony. I spent the next 9 years in recruitment, dealing with both UK based and international positions in the commercial, engineering and accountancy sectors. Throughout my recruitment career, a common theme had been frustration with technology. The software available did not seem to have been created in a way that made my job easier, and the need for additional tools remained. I thought all recruitment software was basically the same - until I saw Firefish.Within three clicks I was hooked. Firefish was created by recruiters, who understand exactly the processes recruiters go through and the issues encountered with most systems. I look after all things Talent and Culture, by adding new Fish and supporting the shoal.and arranging fun activities and treats to make sure we\'re all happy! But I\'m not the only recruiter here: the Customer team help clients with smooth onboarding, technical support and ongoing success with Firefish. They\'re all recruiters so understand your needs and are here to ensure that you get the best out of your software to allow you to swim to success!
