ABOUT VICKI DOCTOR
Vicki Doctor serves as the Director of Precision Medicine at City of Hope hospitals in Atlanta, Chicago, and Phoenix, where she has led strategic and operational efforts since 2018. She has successfully overseen multiple genomic test onboarding initiatives, IT integrations, research initiatives, and clinician education programs about precision medicine (genomics & genetics) across the City of Hope hospital system. Vicki is the architect of an enterprise-wide Medication Acquisition Program that removes barriers to targeted therapy and immunotherapy access for cancer patients when clinical trials are not available, a model she first pioneered during her tenure at Cancer Treatment Centers of America. Her multidisciplinary background as an oncology-certified nurse, a bachelor\'s-prepared social worker, and a graduate of Arizona State University’s Master of Science in Healthcare Delivery program informs her holistic approach to her role and passion for oncology precision medicine. In addition to her leadership at City of Hope, Vicki contributes to a genomic biomarker database and has served as a guest lecturer at ASU, educating future nurses on the principles of precision oncology. She is deeply committed to democratizing access to precision medicine and empowering healthcare providers with the tools and knowledge to transform cancer care.
