The request concerns the maintenance of FELiScE and the addition of functionalities for the simulation of cardiac hemodynamic and pulmonary ventilation. This involves developing a 3D beam model which will be used to model the mitral valve chord and which will then be coupled to a 3D hull model (for the sheets). Concerning the simulation of pulmonary ventilation, it is a question of integrating a solver for a hyper-elastic non-linear elasticity model. Maintenance and update operations on the code are planned and necessary to absorb a technical debt: switch from Subversion to Git and switch from Make to CMake. The software is important for the team and requires support to continue to develop in good conditions. The job is well suited to an SED engineer, with part of software organization and part of integrating new features.

ABOUT VICENTE MATAIX FERRÁNDIZ
In 2013, I graduated in civil engineering with deep knowledge in structural dynamics. After that I started a two years long Master of Mechanics in École Polytechnique and École Normale Supérieure Cachan (Université Paris-Saclay), where I finished my first year (M1) with a research internship in NECS SA, a consulting enterprise specialized FEM calculus; and right now I am realising the internship of my second year (M2) in the CIMNE, the International Center for Numerical Methods in Engineering, in Barcelona. After that, I started my PhD in advanced methods for sheet metal forming, which included a deep understanding of the Finite Element Method. During that time I learn about complex HPC C++/Python implementations which I used in order to implement large deformation solid-shell elements, in addition to large deformation numerical contact mechanics, large deformation plasticity and adaptive re-meshing techniques. Just before my PhD defence, I worked as a consultant civil engineer at ALTEN in the nuclear sector in France. After that, I started my current job as a research engineer In INRIA Paris, where I work as SED engineer, assigned to the project COMMEDIA specialized in biomechanics. Between my strong points I can mention the next ones-I\'m very active and curious person-I like to be always learning new things.
