    Responsible for planning, developing, teaching, implementing, evaluating, and reporting on a comprehensive marine-natural resources education program for Taylor County; also assist in the 4-H Youth Development program. Identify and maintain professional relationships with various marine and coastal resource and water education user groups, and act as a liaison to marine and natural resource management agencies as well as public and private organizations and educational institutions. Assume leadership in developing programs to promote tourism and economic development as they relate to Taylor County’s artificial reef program and other natural resources. Develop and use an advisory committee to assess client needs and provide local guidance ensuring to develop and implement a highly relevant program with a high level of stakeholder engagement and collaboration with agencies and other partners to respond to priority coastal issues. Work with the private sector to conduct extension programs that support both economic growth and environmental sustainability. Programs will be centered on important natural resources such as artificial reefs and the recreational scallop fishery, marine resource and water quality, adult and youth educational programs related to coastal and marine habitats and resources, and issues related to coastal preparedness, climate variability, and sea level rise. Collaborate with UF/IFAS Florida Sea Grant Extension faculty in surrounding counties and UF state faculty to plan and develop extension education programs in support of priority statewide Extension initiatives. Deliver educational programs using a wide variety of approaches. Work with agencies and organizations to acquire grants and other sources of extra-mural funding, cooperate in interdisciplinary projects, provide service to schools, develop creative works and extension publications in support of programs, and participate in professional societies.
