ABOUT VIBHUTI CHANDHOK

I am an Associate at Bain Capability Network (BCN), with a background at the intersection of policy, technological innovation and sustainable supply chains. My work focuses on enabling clients to navigate the energy transition and scale low-carbon technologies. I hold two postgraduate degrees in chemistry — an MSc in Chemical Sciences from the University of Florida, where I specialized in inorganic chemistry and carbon dioxide utilization, and an MSc from the University of Glasgow, where I researched lithium-ion battery materials and magnetic nanomaterials. Prior to joining Bain, I worked at the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW), where I assessed the role of technological innovation in manufacturing and supply chains for clean energy technologies and critical minerals. I also briefly worked on circular economy of lithium-ion batteries in India and how domestic policies get transformed due to changing technological and geopolitical landscape in clean energy supply chains.Beyond work, I enjoy exploring new cultures — having travelled to eight countries so far — along with reading, cooking and writing fiction.
