ABOUT VIBHAV N K.

I’m an Embedded Software/Systems Engineer with a strong focus on software development for spaceflight systems (microgravity), and hands-on involvement in electrical AIT processes. I specialise in hardware-software integration, embedded software development, system testing, and payload validation in mission-critical environments. At Yuri GmbH, I primarily carry on the embedded software development for scientific payloads in Microgravity — including sensor integration, robust data logging, command interfacing, and system-level boot sequencing using C++, Python, and Bash. Alongside software, I actively contribute to the electrical AIT process: configuring EGSE-like setups, integrating CSI/I2C/GPIO peripherals, writing test procedures, and supporting Flight Model validation, burn-in campaigns, NCR resolution, and QA documentation. My Master’s thesis at Würth Elektronik ICS focused on designing and validating an internal resistance estimation system for LiFePO₄ BMS cells — from schematic and PCB design (Altium) to embedded firmware (C/C++) and a Qt-based desktop application for serial communication, I built a fully functional BMS Internal resistance estimation prototype from scratch. Earlier at L&T Technology Services, I worked on Embedded Android (AOSP) multimedia systems — developing features, debugging audio/video/HAL layers, and collaborating across global teams to validate end-user performance. With experience across embedded C/C++, communication protocols (UART, ADC, PWM, SPI, I2C and CAN) — and platforms like STM32xx, AURIX TC3xx, Raspberry Pi, Atmel SAMD, BeagleBone Black — I bring a structured, mission-oriented mindset to building and validating reliable embedded systems in aerospace and high-tech domains.
