About Vian Nguyen

I’m a physician, coach, and mom of three working at the intersection of emotional health, life skills, and honest conversations. I believe life skills are health skills, the everyday tools that directly shape our choices, our ability to prevent mental and physical conditions, and the habits that sustain our wellbeing. Through my platform, Taboos, I’ve created fully text-based spaces where teens and young adults can explore the life skills behind emotional and sexual health. For parents, I offer a blog and community group to help them support their kids with more clarity and less panic. There are no long videos or endless modules. Just short, daily micro-lessons that fit into real life, build healthier habits, and unlearn the ones that no longer serve us. None of us has time for another course or book, but we all need practical ways to grow, adapt, and show up for what matters most: our health and happiness.
