Victor E. Gomez, PsyD(c), LMHC, CPT, is a bilingual clinician and doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at Albizu University, where his studies and clinical work focus on trauma, stress, and health. Known for his warm and evidence-based approach, Victor brings together science, empathy, and cultural humility to support individuals and families on their journey to healing.Throughout his career, Victor has worked across diverse clinical and organizational settings—including outpatient practices, private mental health clinics, and federal programs such as the Department of Homeland Security’s Behavioral Health Program. His clinical experience spans trauma-informed and trauma-sensitive care, psychological and neuropsychological assessment, crisis intervention, psychotherapy, and counseling with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families from a wide range of cultural backgrounds and clinical presentations. As a Clinical Certified Practitioner in Trauma-Focused Psychotherapy, Victor specializes in evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
