ABOUT VERSHA PATEL

Hello and welcome to my LinkedIn profile! I’m a technically minded individual, passionate about design and innovation. I have a proven track record in leading the design development, quoting, supply chain setup and delivery of bespoke to high volume complex projects. I have managed projects of up to £5 million and been responsible for the operations of turnover circa £30 million. Over my 17+ year career I have had the opportunity to work with numerous premium retail and furniture brands, these experiences have given me a broad but in depth knowledge in the following areas: • 3D CAD design, detailing and development in Solidworks (but can also use AutoCAD 2021, Unigraphics & Autodesk Inventor). • Prototyping, trial runs, tooling and testing. • Conversant in designing for manufacture with sheet metal, plastic fabrication, joinery, solid surfacing, laminates, glass, ironmongery, aluminium, led lighting, vacuum forming, injection moulding, extrusions. • Project management, client management, change management, project planning (Microsoft Excel, Smartsheets), project reporting. • Team leadership, performance management, KPI’s • Procurement, quoting, negotiation, supplier selection, pricing strategy, stakeholder management, contracts, framework agreements • Site surveys, logistics, warehousing, assembly, construction, installation, health & safety, risk assessments With a desire to continuously learn and challenge myself, I am looking to connect with people in the retail, commercial, hospitality and residential construction industry.
