Responsible for the strategic development of the LV, HV, EHV and 132kV electricity distribution system in a coordinated, safe and economic manner to satisfy the industry code obligations and requirements.Reporting to the Director of Asset Management, the role involves leading teams of engineers to deliver an efficient and coordinated network investment plan combining the requirements of network performance, asset condition, reinforcement, operation, consents, ESCQR compliance and connection of generation and demand to the regional LV, HV, EHV and 132kV networks.The regional Network Planning Manager is accountable for the development of regional infrastructure and connection strategies, oversee the development of investment projects from inception to completion, interacting with internal and external stakeholders and identifying opportunities to meet the needs of the electricity system under RIIO-ED1 and in preparation for RIIO-ED2.
