ABOUT VERONICA FARMER

Executive leader operating at the intersection of innovation, capital, public policy and growth. With more than 20 years of experience guiding technology, academic and public-sector organizations, I specialize in positioning organizations for scale, transition and long-term impact. My work spans brand strategy, capital and investor narratives, government relations, ecosystem development and executive communications. As Chief Marketing Officer of Wesley Clover International, a global private investment management firm founded by Sir Terry Matthews, I lead global brand and strategic positioning across a multi-sector portfolio spanning technology, real estate and hospitality. I serve as a trusted advisor to CEOs and founders, helping align growth strategy, capital attraction, public policy engagement and stakeholder confidence.Previously, as Founder and CEO of TrueCourse Communications (acquired in 2024), I built and led a full-service agency for nearly two decades, advising North American and European clients on brand transformation, infrastructure communications and large-scale innovation initiatives. My career has also included launching the University of Ottawa’s Kanata North campus, advancing industry-academic commercialization partnerships, and leading strategic advocacy for Canada’s largest technology park. I bring governance experience through multiple board roles across innovation and community impact organizations. I am particularly interested in organizations navigating scale, complexity and transformation, where disciplined strategy, ecosystem influence and clear narrative unlock measurable performance.
