Set up Shippers with LDi, by supplying customer set up packet. This allows the Shipper to set up a line of Credit with our company so that we can move loads for them more effectively-Negotiates rates with Shippers and Carriers -Communicates and initiates rapport daily with Managers, colleagues, Shippers and Carriers pertaining either sales calls, and/or email-Researches Shippers seasonal demand and rate trends-Communicates with Carriers and Dispatchers via TruckStop, DAT, and PostAnywhere to notify them of available loads which are posted in company TMS-Assists other sales Agents and Brokers with finding Carriers-Responsible for expediting shipments that are Domestic and International loads via LTL, FTL, Air Cargo, Rail Cargo, and Ship Cargo-Resolves all Customer and Carrier complaints, issues with delivery, Shipping and Carrier errors-Utilizes TruckStop Shippermates to find prospect Customers-Maps out Carrier routes including fuel charges, mileage and search for return Loads. Will track Carriers if needed and apply additional Insurance for perishable loads-Verify Carriers DOT Number or MC Number in company TMS-Submits rate confirmations to Carriers-Maintains positive rapport with Customers, Carriers, and Management, to ensure high level of service-Runs reports to track productivity, pay cycle, and to see if company margin is being met daily-Submit rates via company TMS to Accounts Payable and Account Receivables-Communicated regularly with carriers for upcoming loads-Do other clerical duties as needed included but not limited to Filing, Printing, Copying, Answering the phone, documenting, calculating, etc.
