   As a Product Owner a product owner I am a technical expert who can translate our business lifecycle, end to end, into a strategic vision for the \"product\" which is our new policy administrative system. I also fully understand the user experience which I translate into requirements that for system builds which will ultimately provide value to the them. To do this I must work closely with my business and development teams to own and drive backlog items and influence the product roadmap by prioritizing those items based on business needs. In this role, I:• am responsible for creation and articulation of the product iterations• am responsible for translating product roadmap into actionable steps to guide development • am a key partner with development team to answer technical questions regarding the involved systems • A liaison with the development team to ensure they understand the business requirements• am responsible for final issue resolution • am responsible for sign off on business requirements and UAT • create and maintain team backlog items • am responsible for ordering backlog items by priority to be addressed • manage scope and ensure additional items are not added unless vetted with all project stakeholders• am accountable for creating and maximizing ROI for the product • understand users, marketplace and competition to design with future trends in mind
