Administrative oversight and monitoring of all programs and grants within the Family Resource & Health Education Unit to ensure compliance with goals and objectives as per contract specifications. Efficiently allocate staff and resources of department to promote programs’ goals and objectives. Perform timely evaluations of staff and conduct recruitment and training for new staff and consultants. Trained in and able to conduct all interventions under his/her supervision. Design, direct and implement work goals. Develop and submit an annual work plan including the goals for the Unit. Responsible for all grant writing and renewal packets for the Unit. Responsible for building opening and closing (or ensuring coverage for same). Complete all paperwork required by funding sources as well as statistical reports and ensure that staff submits the same in a timely and quality manner. Remains available, on an on-call basis, to provide support and assistance with all department staff for emergency issues, such as placement, emergent social service needs and extended schedule support. Supervises data gathering and monitoring. Prepares weekly and monthly reports to the Executive Director listing statistics, activities and program accomplishments. Ensures immediate and thorough communication to ED about program or client emergencies and crises as well as contractual compliance problems via a phone call and memorandum specifying the issues, reasons, and action plans. Monitor outcomes and levels of service of grant/s on a daily and weekly basis to ensure compliance with all funding sources’ requirements and objectives. Conduct weekly quality assurance reviews of client and program files and charts to ensure quality and completeness of documentation and services. Ensure that supervisees are making linkages for clients with appropriate services within HFC and in the community.
