I have worked in the Automotive Industry for over 29 years starting with Ford and then transferring into Visteon. I left Visteon for a brief stint at Brose North America and honed my purchasing skills while I was there. In my career, I have experience in engineering, materials management and purchasing with an emphasis on Bill of Materials and Program Purchasing. While at Brose, I was considered a \"Full Service Buyer\" meaning that I identified and sourced new suppliers for the Door Module Programs. I have experience in transfering of business (working with suppliers on transferring of manufacturing, tools, processes and all paperwork), experience with manufacturing (working the production line during plant shutdown\'s and labor disputes), and experience in identifying and implementing cost savings ideas/practices and processes.
