About Veronica Bichara
I am a passionate and ambitious biomedical scientist and my motto is to work with commitment, work ethic, and to engage in new challenges and seek a way to resolve them. I relate well with my peers and my superiors, and actively participate in group dynamics. While working on my undergraduate and master\'s degrees, I have worked on projects related to Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 (HIV-1), Dengue Virus, and Chikungunya Virus. I have a strong background in infectious diseases and molecular biology. Since joining the pharmaceutical & biotechnology industry I have applied my experience in molecular biology to develop assays for therapeutics and drug discovery purposes, and to aid teams to reach their milestones. My career goal is to acquire knowledge and experience to be able to make significant contributions to the further development of drugs, vaccines, and methods to diagnose diseases that will benefit society.
