ABOUT VERN TOEWS

As the Manager of Professional Development at the REALTORS® Association of Edmonton, I spearhead innovative training programs and develop e-learning content tailored for over real estate professionals. My role capitalizes on nearly 30 years of industry experience to ensure our members are equipped with cutting-edge tools and knowledge, keeping them ahead in a dynamic market. My firsthand experience as a former REALTOR® guarantees that our learning opportunities are not only relevant but also directly applicable to our members\' success. The REALTORS® Association of Edmonton benefits from my commitment to continuous learning and process mapping to enhance user experience. My strategy includes creating dynamic training sessions and comprehensive video tutorials, all aimed at fostering a community that values education and skill development. With a focus on innovation, I ensure that our training programs are not only informative but also engaging. I also enjoy volunteering with the Air Cadet League of Canada, where I help raise young leaders. I have received multiple honours for my service, and I am currently a national governor. In my spare time, I like to explore the underwater world as a licensed SCUBA diver and light up the sky as a certified fireworks display supervisor. I\'m currently pursuing the Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP) designation through the Institute for Performance and Learning, further strengthening my expertise in learning strategy, instructional design, and performance improvement.
