Product Owner LiveScan Biometric fingerprinting systems at the Virginia State Police.• Lead the LiveScan Engineering staff troubleshoot hardware and software error submissions to ensure accuracy of the Criminal Database up to the FBI Database. • Utilized JIRA ticketing system to monitor EPIC project plans, track stakeholder deliverables.• Research, analyze, and interpret legal statutes and codes to identify proper classification and restrictions of Biometric transactions to the Virginia State Police.• Work with law enforcement agencies and courts to obtain information relevant to classifying offenders as they move across state lines, violate the Code of Virginia, or accumulate additional criminal charges.• Respond to inquiries from Commonwealth Attorneys, the public, sex offenders, educational institutions, and various law enforcement agencies. • Train and educate employees on legal reasoning behind process / procedural changes; develop employees and limit operational deficiencies by providing cross-training and team building experiences.• Identify program staffing needs and deficiencies; coordinate with leadership and HR to request needed funding.
