About Deepika Verma

I am a self-motivated and enthusiastic engineer with strong interdisciplinary training in Electronics, Mechanical and Bioengineering, and 8+ years of academic research experience and 10 years of industrial experience in translating innovative technologies into new products. I have extensive research experience in the field of microfluidics, cell mechanobiology and cystoskeletal mechanotransduction, and expertise in imaging, image analysis and use of programming tools for algorithm development. I am passionate about applying data analytics and data science tools to understand the complex problems and answer questions. I have industrial experience in new product development from concept generation to product launch and sustenance, and proven track record in management of inter-disciplinary projects and implementation of improved processes. I am a multi-linguist of the field- I speak engineering, biology, chemistry, and that makes working in a highly inter-disciplinary team very effective.Being able to apply engineering skills to solve biological problems is a rewarding experience for me and drives me forward.
