About Sarthak Verma

Growing up, I had dyslexia, a disorder that embroiled me in several academic failures. I survived only because my mother and brother didn\'t give up on me. Education became a tool to change my life early on.Hailing from a background where a career in corporate wasn\'t the norm, I struggled to land my first internship and first full-time role after college and business school, simply because I wasn\'t prepared. I was clueless about what I wanted and how to go about it. This made me realise that if I am struggling to figure out what to do next in my career, write my MBA application essays, or prepare for my target job interviews, despite graduating from the most pedigreed educational institutions in the country, then this problem would be plaguing others as well. To solve this problem at scale, I am building Career Edge, a platform that is democratising access to mentorship for all working professionals and college graduates through intensive career programs on placement and b-school preparation. We currently offer career & job preparation fellowships in Management Consulting and Product Management. For B-School admissions, we offer end-to-end essay and application mentorship, as well as GMAT coaching, for programs such as ISB, HEC Paris, NUS Singapore, INSEAD, LBS, IIM-A PGPX, IIM-B EPGP, IIM-C MBAEx, IIM-K PGP (BL), and XLRI-PGDM (GM).Feel free to check what we are working on - https://career-edge.in/career-programs/I took the entrepreneurship plunge right after completing my MBA from the Indian School of Business (ISB) where I secured an Institute Rank of 8 out of 692 students in my batch and was the president of the Entrepreneurship Club. I completed my bachelors from Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (SSCBS), University of Delhi, where I was fortunate to win a gold medal for academic excellence.
