Passionate about the intersection of computer science and biology, I am a dual-degree student at UNC Charlotte, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science with a concentration in Bioinformatics, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. My education and experiences have equipped me with a strong foundation in both technical skills and behavioral insights. Currently, I serve as an Innovation Explorer & Growth Catalyst Intern at Neo Sophia Inc, where I design outreach campaigns and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience and product offerings. As the President of Bioinformatics Buddies, I lead a team dedicated to developing curricula in programming languages such as Python, R, etc, while also creating interactive visualizations to simplify complex bioinformatics data. My hands-on experience includes internships at Cornell University and UNC Charlotte, where I optimized data pipelines, applied machine learning to enhance protein structure accuracy, and contributed to research that was recognized in a published manuscript. Additionally, I have presented my findings at several conferences, showcasing my commitment to advancing the field of bioinformatics. I am skilled in various programming languages and tools, with a focus on developing innovative solutions for data analysis and visualization.
