I am a bioinformatician and a data science professional. In both the academia and industry, I contributed to building several bioinformatics workflows, algorithms and applications in an agile manner. I have been working with large datasets, solving difficult analytical problems, applying advanced analytical methods, conducting end-to-end analyses-including data gathering and requirements specification, processing, analysis, testing, and ongoing deliverables. I have experience in developing apps in the Dnanexus platform, and pipelines in workflow managers like nextflow. Besides the domain expertise in pharma/healthcare analytics, I have knowledge of data analysis using Python (pandas, numpy, matplotlib & scikit-learn), R (tidyverse, S4 classes and methods, etc), linux, and Excel. In industry, I contributed to-multi-omics NGS data processing,automating data science workflows,building R packages,developing containerized applications in AWS using Docker,unit testing,nextflow,dnanexus,Mongodb,github, bitbucket participating in exploratory and downstream analyses.Have developed systems biology models, including network and kinetic models, and have extensively analysed bioinformatics data.Project management:Jira software and confluence.
