About Venkatesh Iyer
Data Science /Analytics professional with a Masters in Analytics. Over 8 years of experience in Analytics management managing project teams doing data science & data visualization projects using python, tableau, sql & spark. Certified in data science and currently obtaining a certification in data engineering, growing my skills further in some of the top technologies such as Hadoop, Spark and Azure. Excellent communication and organizational skills. I obtained my Masters in Analytics program to understand how data can be leveraged using predictive analytics & machine learning in order to generate actionable insights for businesses. Have played the role of an Analytical lead & data strategist to identify and integrate new datasets that can be leveraged through product capabilities, Devise and utilize algorithms and models to mine big data stores, perform data and error analysis to improve models, and clean and standardize data for uniformity and accuracy. I recently took a Gallup strengths finder test and revealed my top two strengths to be Input & Learner, which are in sync with my motto – student always.
