I\'m passionate about solving one of the most fascinating challenges in technology today — how to make digital experiences feel personally meaningful at a global scale. As a Senior Product Manager at Amazon Prime Video, I specialize in building AI-driven personalization systems that understand and respond to cultural moments in real-time, helping millions of customers discover content they\'ll love.What excites me most is the intersection of cultural awareness and machine learning. At Prime Video, we were losing customer goodwill because our platform lacked awareness of real-world cultural moments — the viral trends, social phenomena, and cultural events that drive viewer interest. Our recommendation systems relied solely on past viewing behavior, making our platform feel tone-deaf to what was happening in the world. To solve this, I conceived and led Zeitgeist, a novel AI recommendation system. I wrote a comprehensive vision document, obtained buy-in from leadership, and led a cross-functional team to build a system that uses statistical models and Gen-AI to automatically detect cultural trends and create relevant in-app experiences. The result was transformative — driving million incremental hours of customer engagement annually.I also tackled a critical \"cold start\" problem in content promotion. Our marketers were using static, pre-determined audience targeting for new title launches, resulting in millions in lost revenue from suboptimal reach. We identified the opportunity to dynamically adjust customer targeting in real-time using explore/exploit based ML models. Working with scientists and engineers, I developed and launched a system that automatically optimizes audience targeting based on real-time performance data. This drove an annualized increase of XX million viewers in the US. I then led its global expansion, scaling to handle over title launches annually across 200+ territories.When I\'m not building AI products, you\'ll find me in my workshop building furniture.
