I have always been a person whose only source of dopamine comes from solving logical problems. This quality of mine has helped me collaborate with brilliant minds and paved my path into the auto ancillary industry. I was part of the Quality Assurance team for the new green field project of Apollo Tyres limited. During my tenure, I have gained expertise in Problem-solving, Data extraction, Data Analysis, Data visualization, making effective presentations, Lean manufacturing projects related to waste reduction and productivity improvement, Root cause analysis of GEMBA problems, Corrective Action Preventive Action, KAIZEN, 5S, Production Part Approval Process, APQP, Measurement System Analysis & Statistical Process Control. Working on a green field project presented me with newer challenges every day. The most difficult task which I was presented with in my early days on the job was to establish Quality Management System. Initially, I played an instrumental role in identifying process requirements, potential failure modes and their potential causes of failure. It required me to spend hours on GEMBA to document the Standard Work Methods, Work Instructions and other systems which would serve as effective prevention mechanisms. Similarly, I was tasked with the validation of all the detection mechanisms in our plant. I ensured that the detection controls were intact and Poka-Yoke was in place for the critical parameters. I spearheaded multiple improvement projects during my tenure at the company. Currently, I am pursuing masters to add more to my skill set. I am adding skills like database management, python, SQL, tableau, machine learning with R to my armoury. Parallelly, I am working on my industrial simulations modelling techniques, supply chain management and systems engineering skills to get an overview of industrial engineering.
