As a Senior Full Stack Java Developer, I played a key role in designing and building an Enterprise Loan Origination Platform for a major mortgage lending company over the course of 10 years. The platform was developed to streamline the entire loan lifecycle—from borrower onboarding and document submission to underwriting, approvals, and final disbursement—while ensuring compliance with evolving financial regulations.On the backend, I led the development of scalable microservices using Java 8/11, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs, integrating with legacy SOAP services to maintain backward compatibility with existing systems. I designed database schemas and optimized complex queries using Oracle and MongoDB, leveraging JPA, stored procedures, and performance tuning techniques to ensure efficient data access and processing.For the frontend, I developed intuitive and responsive user interfaces using React.js and modern Angular frameworks, transitioning from legacy AngularJS components to a more maintainable, modular architecture. The UI provided real-time updates, status tracking, and error validation for internal users and customers, improving the overall user experience and reducing onboarding time.
