ABOUT VENKATA RAHUL ABBARAJU
With over fifteen years of experience in solar industry, Venkata applies his broad knowledge of PV systems and data driven approach to continuously validate and ensure success of products and services. He worked on testing, characterizing, developing, and managing a wide range of solar products and services. He thoroughly enjoys solving problems and collaborating with engineers, sales teams, system operators, asset managers, and long-term owners to identify new opportunities for improvement. In his current role, Venkata is responsible for managing NEXTracker’s control systems, Data Hub, and TrueCapture product lines. Prior to that, Venkata worked as Director of Engineering at Yingli Americas, leading its product management and after-sales support activities. Venkata also worked on developing Primestar Solar’s (GE Energy’s) CdTe module technology which was later acquired by First Solar. Earlier in his career, he worked as reliability test engineer at TUV Rheinland PTL and subsequently introduced component testing service at PTL. Venkata has master\'s in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University, with statistical quality & reliability specialization, and bachelor\'s in Mechanical Engineering.
