As General Manager, I lead the supply chain function at Ankura Hospitals, a leading women and children’s hospital network with 14 branches across four states. I oversee end-to-end procurement, vendor negotiations and supply chain operations covering SKUs, ensuring clinical continuity and cost efficiency. Reporting to the Managing Director, I am accountable for driving procurement strategies, digital transformation initiatives, and adherence to healthcare compliance standards.I focus on strengthening vendor partnerships through SLAs, reducing costs, and enhancing efficiency in demand planning, warehouse management and inventory control. I have successfully reduced yearly supply costs by 6% through renegotiations, driven ERP-led automation, and built a strong reporting system via dashboards and KPIs. I also mentor a team of 10 supply chain professionals while guiding 14 unit-level staff, embedding accountability and quality standards across the network.
