About Venkat Natarajan

I\'m currently a software engineer at Fidelity Investments, working to help people plan their financial futures and reach their financial goals. Apart from building APIs, using Java and Python, to support financial products used by millions, I also work on projects that use AI to truly personalize personal finance to the specific needs of an individual. My exposure to the financial domain at my current employer has piqued my interest in financial markets, investing and financial analysis. Consequently, I\'m currently pursuing additional learning in those fields. In effect, I\'ve passed the examination of the first level of CFA. I have a B.Tech degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. Still, my interest in coding steered me towards a minor degree in the Computer Science Department at my Alma mater. During my Bachelor\'s, I was the Editor of the Online Presence of my college\'s media house and magazine, a role which re-invigorated my love for the written medium.
