ABOUT VENKAT CHANDU BHEESETTY
I am a recent graduate with a Master of Science in Mechatronics from the University of Siegen, actively seeking full-time positions as an AI/ML or Computer Vision Engineer. I am passionate about applying deep learning and computer vision techniques to solve impactful real-world problems and am keen to explore emerging areas such as Agentic AI. During my master’s thesis at Volkswagen AG, I developed advanced computer vision models for automotive perception and situational awareness, contributing to research that enhances intelligent vehicle capabilities. Additionally, I completed an internship at Volkswagen focused on time series analysis and ADAS safety functionality. My academic and professional experiences include projects in semantic segmentation, classification, deblurring, object detection, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), with hands-on expertise in PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, and timm. Before pursuing my master\'s, I worked as a Senior Engineer at Vedanta Limited, where I gained valuable engineering and cross-functional collaboration experience.
