The Colorado Health Access Fund is a field of interest fund at The Denver Foundation focused on behavioral health for the most vulnerable populations across Colorado:Committee assists with the distribution of $40M to increase access to behavioral health and substance use treatment services across Colorado with a focus on health equity issues. Responsible for reviewing grant requests and recommending grant awards to organizations that focus on unrepresented/underserved populations including those impacted by racial health disparities. Priorities include increasing access to direct clinical care and supporting public policy advocacy efforts that address, among other concerns, mental health workforce shortages.
