   Responsys is a cloud-based marketing automation and email marketing platform. It is a product offered by Oracle Corporation, designed to help businesses effectively manage and execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, mobile, social, and web.These are few of my accomplishments - Developed capacity planning tool using APEX- Developed numerous performance metrics that pinpointed problem areas, inspiring the creation of an in-house monitoring tool for a SAAS-based product like Responsys- Actively participated in highly escalated customer calls, providing key data points and troubleshooting assistance. Ensured proper follow-up actions and designed solutions to prevent future issues, including those related to histograms, latches, Linux system performance, and plan changes- Designed an effective database migration plan for a key critical project, migrating from Aerospike database to OCI Oracle database. Conducted comprehensive database testing and performed optimizations to accommodate the transition from a NoSQL database to a relational Oracle database- Assisted in the transition from IBM MQ to AQ database, implementing a highly scalable queuing system for Responsys, which handles upto billions of messages daily- Developed multiple automation scripts, such as log mining for archivelogs for forensic evidence and a data collection tool for automating the collection of large-scale database sizes, totaling up to petabytes- Collaborated, participated in, and led various projects of varying complexities, Oracle cloud migration,including encryption, Goldengate replication, ATP performance evaluation, storage evaluation, Fusion project migration, Native Performance Hub POC, MySQL cache project, timezone upgrades, and reduction of database alerts- Established proactive monitoring metrics to identify issues before they impact customers, leading to a reduction in escalations and improvement in overall efficiency across multiple teams.
