The Information Technology (IT) Director’s role is to provide vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology initiatives. As the IT Director, I direct the planning and implementation of the Newark Housing Authority’s (NHA) systems in support of business operations in order to improve cost effectiveness, service quality, and business development. I am also responsible for all aspects of the organization’s information technology including telephony and network. The Newark Housing Authority (NHA) is the largest public housing authority in New Jersey and the eleventh largest in the nation. We have a portfolio of 44 public housing communities with a total of over rental units scattered throughout the City of Newark. NHA also administers up to Housing Choice Vouchers (Section 8) within the city limits.
