Serving as Chief Scientist at CSIR - CRRI with a demonstrated history of working in the field of Road Safety, Road Safety Audit, Traffic Engineering, Roadway Capacity Estimation, Transport Economics (especially Road User Cost estimation), and Transportation Planning (especially on Bus Rapid Transit Evaluation). Strong research professional with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) coupled with Post Doctoral Research stints at University of Antwerp in 1998 for 10 months and University of South Australia, Adelaide in 2008 for 6 months.One of the major contribution made is in the form of Joint Course Coordinator (with Dr. K. Ravinder) for the conduct of 15-day Certification Course on \'Road Safety Audit and Other Associated Traffic Engineering Adpects\'. This course is devised by the undersigned conforming to aspects stipulated by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRT & H) and National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). As of today, 324 trained Road Safety Audit professionals have been created through the above flagship program conduct by CSIR-CRRI since May, 2017.Served as the Champion for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) sponsored research study titled,\'Indian Highway Capacity Manual (Indo-HCM). This study was successfully completed in 2017 and the report was released by the Hon\'ble Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Mr. Nitin Gadkari, in February 2018.
